Current eco-initiatives around the hotel include:
- Envi Carbon-Neutral Paper door signs to advise Housekeeping when guests do not wish to have their room serviced.
- To ensure a safe, quality environment for all guests, smoking is prohibited at the hotel.
- Water saving fixtures and fittings in newly furbished and non-refurbished rooms are all AAA-rated.
- Compact florescent energy-saving light globes are employed throughout the hotel.
- Cardboard, plastic and general waste recycling programs.
- Cooking oil from hotel kitchen is recycled into animal food.
- Card-operated master switches have been installed in all newly refurbished rooms, promoting electricity conservation when room is not in use.
