Held every Friday evening from December to April (4.30pm – 9.00pm), Street Eats @ Franko brings the best of Tasmanian produce to the heart of Hobart.

Sit back and enjoy the live entertainment as you tempt your tastebuds with the freshest ingredients and local beverage selection. Everything available has been prepped cooked, brewed or distilled in Tasmania.

Grab a picnic blanket, relax on the grass, and indulge in great food, even better company, and amazing vibes!  It’s just a quick 2-minute stroll from the Hotel, so when it returns, we recommend heading over to Franklin Square as soon as it kicks off. Tasmania’s iconic food and drink festival returns to Hobart’s waterfront from 27 December 2025 – 3 January 2026, open daily at 12pm. With more than 80 stallholders showcasing the best of Tasmanian food, wine, beer, cider, and spirits, the Taste of Summer is the ultimate celebration of the island's producers and summer by the water. The program features live music across multiple stages, roaming performance, family-friendly entertainment, and Hobart’s biggest New Year’s Eve Party with front-row views of the fireworks.
