Hindley Street Music Hall

Adelaide's 1,800-capacity live venue sits on the same street as Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide, so the walk back after the encore takes about four minutes, kebab stop optional.

Redeveloped and reopened in 2022, the Music Hall quickly became the anchor of the West End's entertainment strip. The line-up runs from international touring acts to homegrown headliners, with comedy, cabaret and theatre filling the nights between gigs. The room changes shape to suit the show: full standing when it's loud, seated or cabaret tables when it's not. House policy is simple: everyone is welcome and everyone looks out for each other. The bars pour local, with Coopers and Pirate Life among the partners.
