Access and Contact Information
Pedestrian access to Lambton Quay is available via lifts 5 and 6 in the Hotel Lobby. These lifts will take you to the James Cook Arcade (294/296 Lambton Quay).
Please note, this access is locked between the hours of 1.00am — 6.00am for security.
Vehicle access is available from The Terrace only, via the car park adjacent to the Hotel.
Car parking is available from Concierge for a nominal fee and a taxi stand is outside the Hotel.

Conference, Meetings and Events
For meetings and events, the hotel has a diverse selection of eight meeting and conference rooms, catering for up to 300 delegates for cocktails or 240 theatre style.
The entire conference floor and Whitby’s Restaurant can also be utilised for large events and tradeshows.
Dry Cleaning and Laundry Facilities
Same day service: Monday — Saturday (no service available on Sundays or Public holidays). Please hang your laundry ‘door hanger’ outside your door by 8.00am. Place laundry in the laundry bag provided with the laundry list, and leave it on the guestroom dresser. Items will be returned to your room by 6.00pm.
Express service: Monday — Friday. 50% surcharge. Please place your laundry in the laundry bag provided with the laundry list and leave it on the guest room dresser. Contact Housekeeping (Dial # 5) between 8.00am — 2.00pm for return to your room within 6 hours.
Charges will be posted to your room account.
Incoming email messages will be delivered to your room. The hotel email address is firstname.lastname@example.org

The hotel Gym is located on the 16th floor and offers a range of aerobic and resistance equipment, open daily from 6.30am — 9.00pm. Use your room key to access the Gym. Note this is a non-supervised facility. For a more extensive workout, the Hotel offers complimentary use of a nearby city Gym. Enquire at the Concierge for details (Dial # 9).
Lost & Found Property
Please contact Housekeeping between 8.00am — 4.30pm (Dial # 5).
Extra cards for your room can be obtained from Reception. A $5.00 bond is placed on your room and is refunded once the card is returned.
Photocopying is available from Reception for a nominal charge.
All areas of the hotel are fitted with smoke alarms for your safety. The smoke alarms are tamper-proof, therefore please do not touch them as this could trigger an alarm.
Please note smoking in your room or public areas such as stairwells will trigger the fire alarm and cause an evacuation.
For extra room supplies and other Housekeeping services please call the Housekeeping office between 8.00am — 4.30pm (Dial # 5).
Safety Deposit Boxes
Please make use of the complimentary safety deposit boxes available at Reception. The Hotel accepts no responsibility for valuables left in your room.

Floors 12-17: The air conditioning controls are situated on the bedroom wall between the bed and the bathroom.
Floors 18-26: The air conditioning controls are situated on the panel beside the bed or on the wall, depending on your room type. For further assistance please call the Concierge (Dial # 9).
A range of toiletry items is provided in the bathroom. Reception can offer you a range of amenities if you have forgotten to pack any standard toiletry items, such as shaving cream, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit or shoe polish.
We can arrange babysitters during your stay. Charges apply and advance reservations are required. Please advise the date, time, number of hours you require babysitter and the number and ages of the children when enquiring with Concierge (Dial # 9).
Bathrobes are supplied in all rooms in the Executive Wing of the Hotel. Should you require a bathrobe during your stay, please contact Housekeeping (Dial # 5).
If you wish to purchase a new bathrobe as a souvenir of your stay, please contact Reception (Dial # 8).

Do Not Disturb
There is a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the inside door handle of your room. To ensure complete privacy, please hang this on the outside door handle and staff will not enter.

Mini-bar and In-room Tea/Coffee
Your minibar will be checked and restocked daily. Any consumption is charged to your account. Tea and coffee are complimentary, milk is kept in the fridge. For extra supplies, please contact Housekeeping (Dial # 5).
Please advise Reception if you require a Newspaper (Dial # 8). Newspapers are delivered Monday through to Saturday only if you have requested this service.
Umbrellas are available from Concierge.
Wake Up Calls
To arrange a wake-up call please contact the Operator (Dial 0).
Bottled water is located within your mini-bar (please refer to the mini-bar price list).
Tap water is also safe to drink.
