Hnry Stadium (previously known as Sky Stadium) is the city's big-event venue, a 34,500-seat bowl by the harbour that hosts Hurricanes rugby, Phoenix football, All Blacks tests, summer cricket and the stadium concerts that everyone talks about for weeks.

It's a great place to watch anything. The stands are steep and close to the action, so even the cheap seats feel like part of it, and a full house is properly loud.
