COVID-19 Policy & Vaccination Pass Update
The team at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland City want to provide you with the knowledge that your health and wellbeing is our top priority.
From the 3rd of December, New Zealand has moved to the new COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System) and Auckland is at red.
To adhere to the Government's COVID-19 protection framework the 'Traffic Light System’, the Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland City will require all guests and visitors to the Hotel to present their My Vaccine Pass.
Our team will be using the NZ Pass Verifier App to scan every guest upon arrival.
Visitors to the hotel that are unable to present their 'My Vaccine Pass' will be refused entry into the Hotel.
The Hotel will not accept any other validation methods (e.g. negative COVID-19 test) and we will follow the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health New Zealand.
Please have your My Vaccine Pass ready when entering the hotel, we may also require identification such as a driving license or passport to confirm your identity matches the pass.
Our team may ask you to present your Vaccine Pass on more than one occasion whilst in the Hotel, we appreciate your patience while we adapt to the new system.
The Hotel has strict standards for cleanliness and hygiene by following our own 'Chancellor Clean' protocols.
